Winter finally seems to be behind us, and the wedding seson is rapidly approaching.   Silvia's announces an agreement with the Crowne Plaza in Enfield for use of their ballrooms.  If you are planning a large wedding or other event, Silvia can now accomodate groups of 250 or more.  Of course if you are having a wedding, bridal showers and other smaller events are included and the Thompsonville Cafe is your ideal location for such a party.

Silvia sells home-baked bread, pies and pastries for take-out prior to each holiday.  If you can't make it to Silvia's Easter Dinner or Mother's Day, pick up her baked goods or kielbasa beforehand.  Silvia buys kielbasa at a local smokehouse, it is definitely NOT the sausage you find in grocery stores.  Try one of Silvia's home-baked apple pies too, they are nothing like a grocery store pie.
